Mike Parent (he/him) is a principal researcher at Hopelab, bringing experience and passion for youth mental health and technology to Hopelab collaborations. Prior to joining Hopelab, he was faculty at Texas Tech University and then the University of Texas at Austin, where he led an active research lab and served as the director of the Ph.D. and MEd programs in counseling psychology. Mike loves being active with his dogs, weightlifting, and spending time outdoors.
