Sage Simone
Therapist, LMSW
(they/them)

Sage Simone (they/them) is a compassionate and affirming therapist who provides client-centered care through an anti-oppressive and anti-racist lens. Sage is committed to creating a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences and identities.

Sage integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based approaches to support clients in cultivating meaningful change, strengthening self-worth, and developing coping skills. Sage believes that the therapeutic relationship is a critical component of healing and growth. Sage works to develop collaborative relationships with clients.

Sage has experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, challenges with communication in interpersonal relationships, self-harming behaviors, and gender identity exploration or ambiguity. Their work is informed by a deep respect for clients’ lived experiences and an emphasis on empowerment and self-advocacy.

Sage has practiced in school and community-based mental health care, supporting rural populations and strengthening partnerships with community resources. They are passionate about helping clients find their voice and advocate for themselves within systems that can feel overwhelming or inaccessible.

Sage Simone is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW #33231) and currently practices under the supervision of Stephanie Brown-Gilbert, LCSW-C (#18387).
