Octavia is a proud Baltimorean, self-described “quirky feminist,” and passionate mental health advocate with over a decade of experience supporting marginalized communities. With a BA in Women’s Studies and LGBT Studies from the University of Maryland, an MSW from Widener University, and an M.Ed. in Human Sexuality, Octavia brings a deeply informed, trauma-centered, and intersectional lens to their work.
They specialize in CBT, DBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), clinical supervision, and supporting individuals—especially those in BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities—through healing from trauma, sexual assault, disordered eating, and identity-related stress. As a board-certified clinical supervisor, they also mentor and guide new therapists across Maryland.Octavia’s approach is rooted in empowerment, inclusivity, and radical care.
