Jordan Cox (she/they) is a dedicated and compassionate therapist who practices from a trauma-informed perspective, offering support to individuals navigating emotional distress. With a deep understanding of the complexities of human experience, Jordan is committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Jordan works with individuals facing a range of challenges, including stress, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, difficulties with performance, and interpersonal difficulties. Their
therapeutic approach integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Inner Child Work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These methods are thoughtfully applied to help clients build healthier relationships with their emotions and experiences.
With a holistic and client-centered focus, Jordan aims to address the full spectrum of each individual’s needs—emotional, psychological, and relational. Central to their work is the development of a strong therapeutic alliance grounded in trust, empathy, and mutual respect. Jordan’s ultimate goal is to empower clients with practical tools for navigating life’s challenges while supporting them in creating meaningful, lasting change.
I am a licensed graduate professional counselor, LGPC (#13592), practicing under supervision of Brittany Walker, LCPC (#7825).
