Emily brings warmth, honesty, and a healthy dose of humor to her work as a therapist. She believes that healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time — and that a collaborative, affirming space is one where real change can happen.
With a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, Emily's approach is both clinically grounded and deeply human. She draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, mindfulness, and attachment-based and somatic practices to meet clients where they are.
Emily specializes in trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, gender identity and transgender experiences, neurodiversity, body image, and life transitions. She is particularly passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ communities, BIPOC clients, and those navigating the intersection of identity, spirituality, and mental health.
In a first session with Emily, you won't be asked to dive into your trauma history. Instead, you'll have space to get acquainted, ask questions, and get a feel for whether the fit is right — because the relationship matters.
Emily works best with people who are ready to make a change, and she'll meet you with a collaborative spirit every step of the way.
