Rafael C. frederick began his education in Michigan, earning an Associate’s degree in Mental Health/Social Work with honors before completing his Bachelor’s in Social Work at Bridgewater State University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Southern California, focusing on Social Change, Diversity, and Military Social Work. His experience includes volunteering and interning with individuals with mental and physical disabilities, newly disabled individuals, adolescents in school settings, and people experiencing homelessness or re-entering society after incarceration. He has provided individual and group counseling, conducted drug screenings, and earned certification in suicide‑prevention and addiction peer counseling. Throughout his career, he has actively advocated for people with disabilities in both Michigan and Massachusetts.
