Dan Holohan (he/him) is a thoughtful and grounded therapist who brings a calm, steady presence to his work with clients. He believes therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and gain clarity about what may need to change, grow, or heal. Dan takes a multidisciplinary approach that integrates dialectical behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and elements of polyvagal theory to support emotional awareness and nervous system regulation. He believes that healing happens through connection and community, and works to create a supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered. Dan has worked in school-based, residential, and outpatient mental health settings, with experience supporting adolescents, adults, and families from marginalized and minoritized communities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the State University of New York and earned his Master of Social Work from Syracuse University.
